Baby Elliott - The story of a natural home birth

I truly cannot find words to pin down the wonder and raw human beauty that I was able witness, in the birth of Elliott Jude. The chaotic, yet simple, messy, but beautiful, exhausting and exhilarating emotional roller coaster of birth is beyond description. Claire was absolutely radiant, so strong, and never once did she show signs of weakness or doubt. Surrounded by her loving family, and two incredible midwives, she powered through nearly 2 days of labor, and gave birth to the most beautiful 10lb(!!!) boy. We all laughed, cried, and formed an incredible bond. Claire is one of my closest friends, and being present to see her strength, was one of the most beautiful things I've witnessed. 

Our mutual lady love Mae was also by my side(this post is a healthy mix of both of our photos!), and we were so happy to be a part of something so big and wonderful. Mae was also able to visit a few days later for Elliott's first lil photo shoot, so get ready! This blog post will surely get you a little teary eyed(it sure did for me!)
